Audrey Hopkins

Audrey Hopkins is a character design artist from California. She began her career doing freelance character designs and comics in the animation industry.
In 2020, her main focus and has been creating original content for TikTok.

My name is Audrey Hopkins and I am the creator of AudityDraws on TikTok, also known as Audity on Instagram. Currently I am an artist based in Los Angeles, California and am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. My lifelong passion has always been character design.

I've been creating art since an early age; I studied art throughout my life; in middle school, high school, and college (BFA degree in Animation at Cal State Long Beach). While in college it was always my dream to work at Pixar Animation Studios.

During and after graduating college, I worked on designing characters for various TV shows in the animation industry. However, a few months before my wedding in late 2019, I took a break from the animation industry to have more time to enjoy my wedding planning. During that time before my wedding, I started a TikTok account to make fun videos and to keep practicing character design as suggested by my college friend, @fruitzfriendz on TikTok. By the time my wedding happened in late 2019, I made the decision to keep making TikTok videos full time. Since then I have made over 240 TikTok videos

I have launched my very own app, the WannaDraw app on Apple and Google Play Store! WannaDraw is a free app my husband and I created in our spare time with the intention of sparking new and creative ideas with a random idea generator! You might see this in my WannaDraw app series on TikTok and Instagram.

Q: What tablets do I use to draw?

A: I have two tablets.

- For TikTok, I use iPad Pro Late 2018 12.9 inch using the app called Procreate

- When working for companies, I use Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 inch using Photoshop


Q: What stylus do I use to draw?

A: I use one for each tablet.


- I use the Apple Pencil 2 for iPad
- I use the provided stylus that comes with the Wacom Cintiq Pro.

Q: How did you learn how to draw?
